Rules!

First of all, Namaste, and welcome to the Lost RP group here on tumblr. You have been accepted as part of our family, and that means you’ll be treated as such, however, there are a few things that we ask of you… 

Rules:

  1. Do not make OOC posts very often. If you want people to see your OOC posts, leave a link to your personal tumblr somewhere on your page. This is for the LOST characters, not for you.

  2. If you are getting hurtful anon comments, TURN OFF YOUR ANON SETTING. There’s no use in us getting people hiding behind that silhouette box trying to tell us we’re not doing their favorite characters justice. If they want to see perfection, they can watch the show instead of reading us having fun.

  3. Feel free to branch out and make the character your own. Stay canon. Stay in character, but don’t be afraid to add details that the show never mentioned. Go ahead and make Sun’s favorite color red! Go ahead and make Hurley’s favorite animal a lemur! Just don’t stray away from what details Darlton did give us.

  4. If you want to add a person to the team, please follow these guidelines:

    -They must know at least a fair bit about LOST. We don’t need people who have never seen an episode in their life coming in and being confused and harshing our mellow. Either that or one of those people who only stuck around for the first two seasons and is going to be confused by all our season 3+ references. 

    -That the character they request isn’t taken! (I’d prefer if all people who wanted to join contact either Jack or myself first, but if you feel the urge to tell them they can join, please please please make sure you aren’t giving them someone else’s character!)

    -They know English/English grammar. I’m not trying to be biased against other languages, but a Richard who can actually speak Spanish would be okay, but a Richard who speaks in nothing but Spanish? Not so much. We want to know what each other is saying. The same thing goes: if they type lyke dis nd dont use propar grammer wen they r talking please dont let them join. we dont need runon sentences misspelled wurds or poor sentance structure. 

    -After they join, MAKE SURE they know to send me their url so I can add them to the list. Also make sure that they know they can’t use their personal tumblrs to RP with.

  5. Try to add as many of the other LOST RP-ers as possible. This will only be fun if we all stay in contact and we all make a world together. (Aww, cheesy series reference!)
